OLD-SCHOOL COMICS ISSUE 1

So the idea I had lately is this - though I've been having a bit of a tough time producing comics lately, I might as well show off all of my earlier comic attempts. This week it's a strictly art-only comic from 2006 - one of my early attempts at a russian sci-fi action story that I've been attempting on and off for the past five years, but never getting anything good out of...

Have a read!

Another comic!

But this one written by Ed Brisson!

Five more pages...

And the end of the first 22-page chunk of dead lands.

More to come soon!

Update!

I've put up five new pages for Dead Lands - check 'em out here.

Dead Lands

After seeing my buddy Giannis Milonogiannis put up his personal project online (it's called "Old City Blues", and it's frigging awesome), I decided to do the same. I've been working a bit on this ice-age shamanic adventure story, and I've decided to put it up online. Take a look.

Another year...

...Another round of final projects.

A satirical poster for Russian Traffic cops...

...A cover for Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash"...

and some experiments with infographics.

The second-to-last, I think, project of the year in this class.

Oddly enough, I'll be attending an event JUST LIKE THIS in Calgary - The Calgary Comic Expo!
It'll be this month, over the 24th and 25th, and not only will Leonard Nimoy be there... but so will BILLY DEE WILLIAMS!
Cool stuff, guys!

So...

We've been drawing big battles again...

Oh, also, I got nominated for an expozine alternative press award ! I might have not won, but the nomination alone is pretty awesome.
